Acupuncture is a healing technique dating back over 3,000 years. It is based
on the principle that energy is circulating in the body in channels or "meridians." When
there is pain or sickness, this energy (also known as "Chi") is blocked, deviated, or depleted.
The flow of Chi is restored by inserting hair-thin disposable sterile needles in various parts
of the body.
Acupuncture can be used in conjunction with moxibustion, cupping, Chinese herbs, and massage therapy.
It is very compatible with Western medical regimes. Acupuncture treatments are safe, painless and
effective for a wide variety of medical problems including:
- Acute and chronic pain
- Post-surgery recovery
- Insomnia, stress, headaches and
- Nausea and fatigue associated
- Asthma, allergies, and viral diseases
- Stop smoking and weight loss
- Digestive and gynecological
- Face rejuvenation and wrinkle
